Suggestions for how to spend 1-2 hours in Albury Wodonga

Head to Junction Place, an exciting urban space that brings life to the historic railway station and rail yards in Wodonga’s CBD. Here you will find a collection of amazing cafés and restaurants. Enjoy outdoor refreshments while taking a stroll or stop for lunch at The Goods Shed for share plates, pizzas, and cold craft beer.

Spend a full day in Albury Wodonga


Morning 

Head out on an easy 15-minute drive from the city centres to the awe-inspiring Hume Dam Wall and the waters of Lake Hume. Or explore in a canoe with Murray River Canoe Hire taking in the fresh morning air and mountain vistas.

Lunch 

Head into Albury’s CBD stopping at Harris Farm Markets along the way to pick up some deliciously fresh local produce. Once you’ve filled your basket head to the Albury Botanic Gardens, layout a picnic in the shade of the 130-year-old trees and enjoy the surrounding gardens.

Afternoon 

Spend a lazy afternoon under the shady canopies at Noreuil Park on the banks of the mighty Murray River. Lay back and enjoy the peace with a book, cool off with a dip in the river or meander along the grassy banks to take in the views.

There is only one way to finish off a hot summer day and that is with a cold drink on the rooftop bar at The Bended Elbow.
