Spring

With cool crisp mornings and warm sunny days, spring is the perfect time to get out and behold the beauty of Albury Wodonga’s nature.

Suggestions for how to spend 1-2 hours in Albury Wodonga

In spring, the hills around Albury Wodonga are alive with native wildflowers. Experience this distinctive beauty by following the walking trails on Nail Can Hill and McFarlane’s Hill. While you’re taking in the stunning native flora and sweeping views make sure to also keep your eye out and your camera ready for wildlife.

Head to the region’s most significant art museum, Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA). MAMA is known for its innovative, original exhibitions featuring local, national, and international artists across three gallery spaces. When you’re done exploring these galleries head into the shop to find a unique locally made piece for yourself or to gift to someone special.

Spend some time relaxing under the shady canopies at Noreuil Park on the grassy banks of the mighty Murray River. Lay back and enjoy the peace with a book or meander along the river’s edge taking in the views. Pack yourself a picnic or grab lunch at The River Deck Café to make the most of your time here.
