Parks and Gardens

Albury Wodonga offers plenty of great outdoor spaces for fresh air and room to relax and play.

Our parks offer beautiful spaces to spend some chill out time al fresco.

Picnic parks

For a picnic in the great outdoors, pack your picnic hamper and make your way to Belvoir Park in Wodonga, or the riverside Noreuil Park.

Playtime parks

Set near a picturesque lake, Belvoir Park in Wodonga has the usual park suspects with slides, rope ladders, swing, and a climbing pyramid. Also available at Belvoir Park is a Liberty Swing which allows wheelchair users to experience the joy of using a swing. The Liberty Swing does require a key so drop by the Albury Visitor Information Centre to gain access. For the older children, try one of the skate parks in town.

Epic parks

The 2,000 square metre, fully fenced Oddies Creek Adventure Playspace caters for children of all abilities. The main timber structure has wheelchair accessible ramps with a range of activities. The 30 metre long flying fox is a popular activity as well as the giant multidirectional bird nest swing, supa nova, a complex climbing net and a number of swings. Grab a coffee from The River Deck, nab a seat and keep an eye on the kids in comfort.

Remarkable parks

Take the kids to meet the dinosaurs at the immaculate Albury Botanic Gardens, only a short walk from the top end of Dean Street. As well as dinosaur sculptures, there are cubbies, a fairy temple and troll cave to discover! For those interested in the plants, the Heritage and Rainforest self guided tours of the Gardens are both worth exploring.
