Albury Wodonga 2019 – 2023 Destination Management Plan

Through the Two Cities One Community Strategic Plan, the community clearly articulated its desire to capitalise on the opportunities that the visitor economy presents for improving the social and economic prosperity of the destination. The inaugural Albury Wodonga Destination Management Plan 2019 – 2023 (AWDMP); through community and stakeholder consultation has been developed for the combined region which is marketed under the visitALBURYWODONGA brand and aligns with several existing states and regional, sub-regional and local plans and strategies.

The key objectives of the AWDMP are to:
• Grow visitor numbers (especially during non-peak periods);
• Increase visitor spend;
• Introduce more commissionable (paid) product; and
• Increase profile by State and tourism agencies.

Murray Regional Tourism Destination Management Plan

The Murray Destination Management Plan (DMP) provides the blueprint to secure growth and economic vibrancy for the region. The DMP is a strategic plan which builds on the outcomes of the Murray region DMP 2012, to provide an updated strategic approach to prioritising key tourism experiences and product development and ensure continued sustainable growth of the visitor economy.

 

Destination Riverina Murray Destination Management Plan

Destination Riverina Murray (DRM) is one of six Destination Networks established by the NSW Government. With the objective of driving growth to the visitor economy, the DRM Destination Management Plan identifies how it will strengthen the region’s visitor economy by developing strong partnerships with industry, local government and tourism organisations to collectively contribute towards increasing visitation, expenditure and dispersal within the Riverina Murray region.
