Keeping even the smallest traveller happy on your family holiday is easy in Albury Wodonga.
At every age, and in every season, Albury Wodonga has your family fun sorted.
Outdoor fun time
Albury Wodonga is home to two major playgrounds that can only be described as EPIC. Oddies Creek Playspace caters for children of all abilities, featuring wheelchair ramps and a 30 metre flying fox, while the Belvoir Park Playground boasts interactive play panels, natural play spaces, a liberty swing, and a lake surrounded by walking and cycling paths.
A giant metal horse stands tall in Richardson Park in Junction Place, waiting to be climbed. Next to this is a system of buckets, pulleys and handles that create a mesmerising interactive water play experience.
Smaller children (and their parents) may prefer the Children’s Garden in the picturesque Albury Botanic Gardens – let them discover the cubby-tree and the gardens’ famous dinosaurs.
For some more active outdoor adventures, you can’t beat the two-wheeled thrills of Border BMX and the action of the Skate Parks. Or make a splash at Albury Swim Centre or WAVES in Wodonga, each with toddler pools and plenty of shade.
Indoor play time
Never fear, parents and grandparents – when the skies darken there are plenty of bright spots indoors to keep kids entertained.
Families can do battle in the dark at Zone Laser Tag Albury or on the greens of Mini Golf Zone. Albury Indoor Rock Climbing and Albury Skating Centre will have you working up a sweat, while the Escape Room will give your brain muscle a workout as you try to solve some fiendishly clever problems.
Then see who can bounce or climb the highest on the trampolines and climbing walls of Bounce Inc, and find out who your family’s champion on a skateboard or scooter at Albury’s newest skate park. For the littlest of little ones, check out Rumble Tumbles and Scrambles where kids can play while parents can coffee.
