Music in the Gardens – Anna Smyrk

Settle in for an Autumn afternoon in the Albury Botanic Gardens with Anna Smyrk.

With a voice described as ‘truly astonishing’ by Rolling Stone, Anna Smyrk is a powerful singer and songmaker from Naarm (Melbourne, Australia). Her songs are anthemic indie bombshells, pairing vulnerable lyrics with explosive arrangements and undeniable hooks.

The last 12 months have been massive for Anna, with highlights including supporting Birds of Tokyo and Tim Rogers, touring North America and Europe, official showcases at NXNE (Canada), Folk Alliance International (USA) and Live at Heart (Sweden) and recording a new EP in Nashville with award-winning producers Jake Finch and Collin Pastore (Lucy Dacus).

In 2024 Anna will be touring her new EP in Australia, NZ, Europe, Canada, North America and UK. Anna is one of very few Australian acts who have been selected to play at SXSW in Austin, Texas in 2024.

Bring your family and friends to this free open-air concert staged at the Albury Botanic Gardens. Food and drinks available for purchase or pack a picnic.

This is an afternoon not to be missed!
