Located in Albury’s main street, the Albury Botanic Gardens has been enchanting visitors for over 140 years. Find the perfect spot under the shade of century old elms with beauty to admire in every direction.  

Along the banks of the Murray is Noreuil Park, an oasis of green space and shade. Take a seat on one of the many picnic tables or fire up the BBQ while looking out over the mighty Murray River.  

Find large open spaces, shady trees, and a picturesque lake at Belvoir Park. Set yourself up at a picnic table and take advantage of the BBQ facilities to enjoy a picnic with ease. If you’re visiting in Autumn or Spring be sure to check if the Wodonga Community Wood-fired Ovens will be firing up during your stay. Find out the dates and times here

Connect with your loved ones amongst the natural beauty of the Albury Botanic Gardens

It’s playtime 

Located among mature gum trees, the 2,000 square metre fully fenced Oddies Creek Adventure Playspace caters for children of all abilities. The main timber structure has wheelchair accessible ramps with a range of activities. The 30-metre-long flying fox and giant multidirectional bird nest swing is popular with all ages. With plenty of seating for parents and covered BBQ facilities, Oddies Creek Adventure Playspace is ideal for an easy birthday party or afternoon out with the family. 

Belvoir Park has a great collection of play equipment. With swings, climbing wall, sandpit and so much more. This park is suitable for all ages with a dedicated, fenced junior playground and adjoining open play area for older kids. You will also find an accessible liberty swing for wheelchair users. 

Tucked away inside the Albury Botanic Gardens is the Children’s Garden, a secret world of wonder and imagination. There are life-sized dinosaurs to run from, fairy temples and troll caves to explore and plenty of open grassed space to relax and set up a picnic too.

Got bigger kids to keep entertained? 

The newly developed Albury Skate Park is a hit with every age group and skill level. The Park includes two covered bowls (one for beginners and advanced), an extensive street skating section and an outdoor half basketball court.

Bring your furry friends 

If you’re holidaying with your fur baby, make sure to stop off at the off-leash dog park at Belvoir Park in Wodonga. This park is fully fenced with a great agility course to test out you and your pups’ skills.
