Combining nature, history and storytelling, The Gateway Island Trail is a 4.3km loop that weaves along the river, perfect for walking or cycling.  Discover stunning viewpoints and sculptural works from local Aboriginal artists.

The sealed trail is set in a natural landscape of gum trees and keen observers will notice an array of wildlife including platypus, wallabies, antechinus, water rats, wedge-tailed eagles, kangaroos, bats and spoonbills.
