There are two bus companies that service the Albury Wodonga Region.
Dysons operate routes in Wodonga, Baranduda, and West, East, and South Albury, as well as an intercity route.
Martin’s services leave from the Dean Street at QEII Square and service Thurgoona via the airport, Lavington, Glenroy, Norris Park, and Quicks Hill.

Built in 1884, the former Waterstreet`s Hotel is one of Albury`s finest surviving examples of a late colonial country hotel.
Originally known as the Commercial Hotel, the grand two-storey building was designed by local architects Gordon & Gordon for Mrs Jane Pool. Thanks to its location near the railway station, it quickly became a popular stop for travellers, railway workers and visitors arriving in Albury.
Think quarantine hotels are a modern thing? Think again. During the 1919 Spanish Flu outbreak, the hotel took on a very different role, serving as a quarantine facility for women and children entering Albury from Victoria. Those arriving were required to stay here for a week, with a police officer stationed at the front door.
Today, while no longer operating as a hotel, the building remains a prominent part of Albury`s streetscape and a reminder of the city`s rich history.

Discover Albury in full colour 🎨
Local artist @kristinagreenhillart brings the Albury CBD Mural Project to life with `Tiny Big World` - a stunning series of three interconnected murals celebrating Albury`s native fauna and flora. 🐦🍃
Each wall along the Ritz Arcade walkway, off Dean Street, tells its own unique story while connecting beautifully as one immersive artwork.
Look out for a second mural by artist Tyson Savanah of a larger-than-life Tree Goanna crawling up the Volt Lane Carpark Exterior wall.
The project has been developed collaboratively by @AlburyCBD (through @alburybusinessconnect) with assistance from @murrayarts and through consultation with @AlburyCity .

Built between 1881 and 1882, the Former Station Master`s Residence was home to the Albury Station Master, the person responsible for keeping the entire railway operation running smoothly during the golden age of rail travel.
Designed by architect Henry Deane, the residence was surprisingly grand, featuring formal dining and sitting rooms, a kitchen, pantry, verandah, and five upstairs bedrooms. Not exactly your average work accommodation.
From the residence, you also had a clear view of the station’s clock tower, although funnily enough, the clocks weren’t installed at the time of construction. This was due to the fact that before 1895, NSW and Victoria were actually running on different times, with a 20-minute difference between the colonies. It wasn’t until Eastern Standard Time was introduced that everyone finally agreed on what time it was.
