The North East Food and Wine Festival will feature local chefs and restaurants, regional producers of wine, beer and cider, all accompanied by live entertainment and children's activities.

This year, the festival introduces some exciting activities, including a cook off between two esteemed local chefs, free kids patisserie, home brewing demonstrations, and more.

Come along to meet and talk with some of the many passionate, regional stallholders – a great day out for the whole family.

Make sure you come along with an empty stomach some of the food stalls include Spanish Paella, wood fired pizza, traditional German bratwurst, slow cooked American barbecue, hot potatoes, traditional Thai, sweets, cakes, pastries and more.

To tie in with St Patrick’s Day Irish band Ceilidh Rogues will be playing from 11:30am until 2:30pm.

Tantalise your taste buds with a range of seasonal produce from the region’s farm gates and providores. With over 70 stalls there will be something for everyone.

You will have the opportunity to sample some of the North East’s fabulous reds, aromatic whites and luscious fortifieds, plus some of the region’s best brews. So come along to the North East Food and Wine Festival to celebrate the region’s one-of-a-kind produce.
