These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and we encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; we welcome you all. You can run, walk, push a pram or even take your dog, it’s a great way to meet others and get out and enjoy our beautiful parks.

Of Mice and Men is a novel written by Nobel Prize-winning author John Steinbeck. Published in 1937, it tells the tragic story of George and his big childlike friend Lennie, two displaced migrant ranch workers, who move from place to place in search of new job opportunities during the Great Depression.
