With the Murray River winding through town and Lake Hume<\/a> just a short drive away, there\u2019s no shortage of peaceful spots to cast a line near Albury Wodonga. Whether you\u2019re chasing Murray cod, golden perch, or trout, the seasons offer something special year-round. From crisp winter mornings perfect for trout to warm summer evenings when cod come out to play (1 December – 31 August). In the warmer months, join the locals at the leafy Noreuil Park Foreshore<\/a>, the ideal entry point for a swim or float. Journey downstream on inflatable tubes, lilos or even the odd flamingo, if you\u2019re feeling fancy. BYO your inflatable of choice and picnic to make the most of the day. BBQ\u2019s and picnic tables are also scattered along the banks of the river and close to Oddies Creek Playground.<\/a><\/span>
