Celebrate Jindera’s German heritage by participating in a traditional German Lantern Festival. <\/p>\n
Children and adults create paper lanterns, participate in a ‘der Laternenumzug’ lantern procession and are entertained with burning effigies. There will be music to lead the procession, culminating in the Village Green with a presentation of burning figures, twirling poi and a rendition from the Australian Choir. German food and beverages will be available at the Village Green.<\/p>\n
Lantern-making workshops will be available before the Lantern Festival and lanterns will be available for purchase prior to the walk.<\/p>\n
Following the Parade, adults can enjoy the Museum’s Wine Bar. There they can enjoy a range of food and a selection of cocktails, mulled wine and other beverages.
