We do mountain biking well around these parts. Whether you’re into flowy singletrack, gnarly descents or a good climb that gets the lungs burning, we’ve got a checklist to tick all your boxes.

☑️ Ride the Hunchback Mountain Bike Park

  • Shred the scenic singletrack with climbs and descents for all levels.
  • Catch sunrise from the summit – it’s worth the early alarm.
  • Ride the green, blue and black trails with panoramic views of Wodonga.

☑️ Ride the High Country Rail Trail

  • Keep going toward Tallangatta if you want a longer ride.
  • Explore the Murray  to Mountains linking Wangaratta, Beechworth, Bright & Myrtleford.
  • Adventure through historic wine country on the Rutherglen Loops network.
  • Bikes lean against the poles of a picnic shelter with a red corrugated iron roof. A family sits at the picnic table looking out over Lake Hume, where tree branches can be seen sticking out above the water level.
