Sweet treats in Albury Wodonga!

Sweet treats are made of these.

We certainly know how to impress the sweet treat lovers in Albury Wodonga. We have some indulgent ideas but we’ll leave it up to you to make the hard choices.

Pastries anyone?

Any day that Nord Bakery is baking is a good day in our books, but on Wednesday’s they bring out the big guns with their delicious doughnuts. Mixed berries compote, oozing lemon curd, or Nutella fillings are among our favourites. If you haven’t tried Frankies and their sweet offerings be sure to swing by and sample one of their Raspberry frangipane tarts.

Classic bakery treats are on offer at Beechworth Bakery, including all your childhood favourites such as jelly slice, and their signature beesting.

Indulge in Wodonga

A local favourite in Wodonga, and never disappointing, is Andiamo Street Food and Topolino Gelateria. As well as creating awe-inspiring treats that are instaworthy, Farrah and her team have a huge selection of goodies filling their glass cabinets. Try a Bombolini – a small Italian doughnut filled with your favourite flavours such as pistachio or custard. You can’t miss out on their classic ice cream flavours! Our locals love the salted caramel, french vanilla, and you can’t go past pistachio… choosing only one will be hard.

While in Wodonga, check out Miss Amelie Gourmet. Being the new kid on the block (well kind of – it’s an extension of local chef and restaurant owner David Kapay’s Miss Amelie), there is a lot of hype about this place – and it’s all warranted. Who needs to travel to France for pastries now we have this place?

Hello dessert menu

Do you choose a restaurant based on the dessert menu? Then we have some seriously divine options for you! Saludos in Albury has a delicious range  of desserts on their menu, but the hero is Chocolate Con Churros served with a warm dipping sauce. Canvas Eatery is sure to delight with their indulgent Sticky Date Pudding or elegant Black Forrest Parfait. Don’t miss them before the menu changes!

Bistro Selle has an ever-evolving menu but their desserts are always to die for, while the Crème Brulee at Level One Wine Bar is the crème da la crème!
