The Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup is now clearly established as one of the premier country racing carnivals in Australia. The March event benefits from a half-day holiday in Albury that has seen the attendance consistently climb above 18,000 people. Albury Racing Club hosts a number of race days throughout the season. Each meeting has a variety of entertainment and hospitality options to choose from.
In addition, the Wodonga and District Turf Club hosts five marquee days including the McRae Motors Wodonga Gold Cup. Also not to be missed is the popular the Wodonga Caulfied Cup.
Harness racing in Albury Wodonga has also marked its place on the growing racing calendar with the popular New Years Eve Family Fun Night.

Wangaratta Turf Club hosts several racing events including a pre-Chrsitmas twilight meet and the Wangaratta Cup in Autumn. If you want to experience grass roots racing at its very best, look no further than the Dederang Cup. Held each January since 1865, the picnic races have attracted spectators from all over the Eastern states. The Dederang Cup is considered on of the premier picnic race meets in country Victoria.
