Parks and Gardens 

Albury Wodonga offers plenty of great outdoor spaces for fresh air and room to relax, splash and play. 
For a picnic in the shade, make your way to Sumsion Gardens in Wodonga, or the riverside park at Noreuil Park, close to Oddie’s Creek Playspace. With more than 90 playgrounds throughout the two cities, there is plenty of family fun.
Take the kids to meet the dinosaurs at the immaculate Albury Botanic Gardens, only a short walk from the top end of Dean Street. As well as dinosaur sculptures, there are cubbies, a fairy temple, a wetland and a troll cave to discover! Or, visit Belvoir Park in Wodonga. Set near a picturesque lake with plenty of picnic spots, there are slides, rope ladders, swings and a climbing pyramid too. For the older children, try one of the many skate parks or trek up to a picturesque lookout for amazing views. 

Water Parks and Pools

For water parks, slides and swimming pools, head to Totally Fun, WAVES or the iconic outdoor Albury Swim Centre. WAVES has a 50m heated swimming pool, toddler pool, splash park with interactive play equipment and a café. Albury Swim Centre also has a 50m pool, along with a covered kids pool, kiosk and a water slide.

Cycling, Walking and Hiking

Beginner and experienced mountain bike riders will love the 20kms of trails on offer. Nail Can Hill, Huon Hill and Hunchback Hill offer challenging terrain and views like no other. For a slower pace, follow our many tracks and trails that weave along the river and through the cities. Jump on the Wagirra Trail and Yindyamarra Sculpture Walk to Wonga Wetlands for a unique piece of art, culture and history. Enjoy a leisurely stroll or energetic run along the banks of the mighty Murray River.
