Art & culture
Visit the renowned Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA) and Hyphen Wodonga Library Gallery for contemporary art housed in fascinating architecture. Gateway Village is home to both the Creators Art Space and Gateway Gallery. Take a stroll along Crossing Place Trail and Yindyamarra Sculpture Walk trails, and enjoy the beautiful sculptures created by local indigenous artists. After a big day of competing take the time to relax and enjoy the natural sights of Albury Wodonga. Wander through Albury Botanic Gardens or around the lake at Sumsion Gardens in Wodonga. For the nature enthusiast, a hike through Huon Hill Parklands in Wodonga or Wonga Wetlands in Albury will soothe your adventurous soul.

If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, stop by Mr Benedict for your morning coffee. They are known for their delicious breakfast and quick service. In Wodonga, Andiamo Street Kitchen serves up Italian street food straight from a shipping container in Junction Place.
Looking for a feast with a view? The River Deck Cafe is a gourmet dining experience right on the banks of The Mighty Murray River. Out by Lake Hume, you will discover The Boat Shed where you can enjoy your meal whilst feasting on the surrounding views.
For a fine dining experience, try Bistro Selle – inspired by European flavours and exquisite presentation. La Maison Restaurant is another fine dining destination, located within the popular Gateway Village.
