Come to QEII Square and experience Summer Place 2022 Re/place Pavilion over this summer. Bring your family and friends to walk around and through the work of art. The pavilion is on exhibition from December 2022 to March 2023. They invite you to touch, feel and even smell the materials!
Re/place Pavilion incorporates circular design thinking, cutting-edge technologies and recycled materials that illuminate creative solutions to construction waste.
The project is collaboratively designed and built by Studio Chris Fox, Bollinger+Grohmann, The University of Sydney and Swinburne University of Technology. It combines the creativity and expertise of architects, artists, students, engineers, and designers.
Held in QEII Square in the heart of Albury’s cultural precinct, Summer Place is an annual architecture program and has won multiple awards and commendations since its inaugural project in 2018. It engages the communities with art and architecture in the public realm and provides creatives with an opportunity to experiment with concepts and materials.
Much more than a physical structure, it challenges conventional thinking and inspire creative solutions for the future.
