Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA) invites you to join a special January edition of their monthly Sketch Club session, with special guest artist Kirrily Anderson.
Although normally held at the museum, this month they’re embracing nature and heading to the shady banks of Wonga Wetlands, on the outskirts of Albury.
Kirrily Anderson is well known for her highly detailed drawings and large scale public murals, often inspired by the environment surrounding her home in Chiltern in North East Victoria. Kirrily’s current exhibition, ‘And tomorrow the beauty returns’ is inspired by the emergence of new life in the Victorian alpine regions after the Black Summer bushfires.
Kirrily will inspire you to look at the environment in new ways as you embrace the details in your sketch book.
Registration is essential so we can stay in touch regarding a contingency plan for extreme weather.
Participants will need to organise their own transport to and from Wonga Wetlands.
