Presented by Murray River Fine Music Association, at Bonegilla Migrant Experience.
Murray River Fine Music is proud to present a unique immersive experience at the nationally heritage-listed Bonegilla Migrant Experience.
Local audiences will remember Inventi’s stunning version of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade during their last visit and have been eagerly awaiting their return.
This concert features Dvorák’s famous New World Symphony which is a generous and thrilling meditation on home and migration, a perfect fit for Bonegilla and its many stories. The concert also includes a world season premiere by the North East’s own internationally renowned composer, Gordon Kerry. Don’t miss this one-off historic music event!
Patrons can opt into a discounted, 30-minute pre-concert tour which will provide insight and deepen your understanding of the former migrant centre’s rich and varied history.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase when doors open at 2:00pm. For patrons selecting to participate in the pre-concert guided tour of the centre, please arrive for a 1:15pm start.
