‘As a Child’ is a pop-up exhibition by Bonegilla Migrant Experience.
It depicts a child’s view of Bonegilla – the journey to a different country, a new landscape, a new language and making a new home in Australia.
The exhibition features items that children and families brought with them for their journey to Australia including pop-out books, doll furniture and christening gowns.
Find the items behind the doors of the Discovery Cupboards and take in the displays and activities.
Site open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
The exhibition is on display until 24 April 2022.
