Nail Can Hill will delight with its array of wonderful wildflowers

Wildflower Wonders

Have you experienced the distinctive beauty of the Nail Can Hill wildflowers and surrounding woodland during spring? Nail Can Hill is one of the most spectacular areas for wildflowers in the Albury Wodonga area.

Small-leaf Parrot Pea (Dillwynia sericea)

Throughout October, a self guided tour will help you explore the wildflowers at your own pace, simply follow the signs and discover the rich and diverse beauty of our flora in all its glory. The trail and signs will be updated regularly during this period as different flowers come into bloom.

Albury’s own Chocolate Lily

Albury’s Environmental Lands Coordinator, Matthew Lincoln advises “Spring is the perfect time to walk the trails to explore the rich diversity of wildflowers within our bushland reserves”.

So grab your walking shoes and camera and head for the hill – Nail Can Hill – as soon as you can! Don’t miss your chance to explore these wild beauties at their absolute best – in magnificent full bloom.
