Borderville brings all the excitement of Circus to the big top! Image :Ian Sutherland

Roll up, roll up, the circus big top is back!

There is something special about a circus. The atmosphere of the magical big top, the vibrant colours, sounds, and of course the awe inspiring performers. To celebrate 40 incredible years, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus returns to the site of their very first show on the banks of the mighty Murray River.

Featuring workshops, performances and film, the festival’s main event will be a new work featuring every one of the 81 students of the Flying Fruit Fly Circus. Blending cabaret with incredible acrobatic performances beneath the circus big top, this will be the first time the entire circus school has performed a major work together.

Not only will performances include current “Fruities”, but many past students will venture home to be part of the celebration; many of who now perform in leading companies around the world.

Performing for big crowds is nothing new for these circus students as they regularly travel the world performing to audiences. Not to mention being the circus-in-residence at both the Sydney Opera House and The Cube Wodonga.

Borderville will bring the magical world of circus to the border. So dip your toe in and experience the extraordinary.
