Discover award winning dining

With the announcement of the latest Australian Good Food Guide’s Chef’s Hat awards, it’s no surprise to see more than a few of our local favourites make the list. Please your palate with a visit to some of our best.

It’s a wining and dining delight at casually elegant Bistro Selle. Host Matt Fuller will take wine matching to the next level with a well-stocked cellar, complementing the modern Euro menu offerings. It’s no wonder they were named Reader’s Choice – Regional for 2019.

Miss Amelie is no stranger to the Chef Hat’s judges. Chef David Kapay draws on his experience working with the likes of Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay, to produce sophisticated, imaginative dishes. Just next door, Little Miss Wine Bar is a stylish space for a pre or post dinner drink.

For a special occasion, or just because, make sure you visit Miss Amelie.

Voted Reader’s Choice – Modern Australian in 2019, The River Deck is nestled in Albury’s Noreuil Park on the picturesque Murray River. Delight in their Murray Cod with Lobster Bisque as you gaze out to majestic River Red Gums and the peaceful river.

The tantalising food doesn’t stop once you reach the city limits. You can continue to match our region’s fine wines with equally fine food across the region. A couple of our favourites are The Terrace at All Saints Wine Estate and Beechworth’s Provenance.
