Cheers to da Vinci: Albury’s boutique wine festival in honour of Leonardo da Vinci

What happens when you combine food and ingenuity? You get ‘Cheers to Da Vinci‘, the event that brilliantly links the current exhibitions at the Albury LibraryMuseum.
So how have we mixed the two?

Da Vinci Machines

First up, there’s the Da Vinci Machines exhibition, where you can discover the extraordinary designs of one of the world’s greatest minds in this award-winning interactive exhibition.

On loan from the Da Vinci Museum in Florence, the exhibition showcases 60 iconic machines and inventions inspired by Leonardo’s drawings. See 500-year-old contraptions brought to life, including da Vinci’s flying machines and digital reproductions of his most famous artworks, including the Mona Lisa.

Cheers! the hidden history of Albury’s vineyards

Then there’s the CHEERS! the hidden History of Albury’s Vineyards exhibition, which shows the hidden history of wine production in Albury. Did you know that in the 1800’s Albury was one of the biggest producers of wine in Australia?
Which brings us to…

Cheers to da vinci!

Combine the two and you get the Cheers to Da Vinci event.
