Spend a day by the shores
A stroll across the top of the Hume Dam Wall is the only way to appreciate the size of this impressive engineering triumph. Make sure to have your camera ready and grab a stunning picture from the various viewing platforms.
Along the shores of Lake Hume, you will find some perfect picnic spots. Bring a basket and spend a day by the Hume Dam Wall or head to Kookaburra Point where you will find BBQs and a boat ramp to make your day easy. Don’t forget the mozzie spray especially around the waterways!

Get out on the Lake
Feel your heart race while you test out your skills wakeboarding, water skiing and tube riding with Adventure Ski. Available for individuals and groups of any experience level.

Throw in a line
With plenty of boat ramps and great bank access, anglers have been casting off at Lake Hume for generations. Grab yourself a Victorian Fishing Licence and try your luck at hooking local specialties such as Trout, Redfin and Golden Perch – or chase a famous Murray Cod in season.

As another sunset melts into the horizon, you’ll be blessed with one last photo opportunity from your day at Lake Hume. But it’s more than likely you’ll come back again tomorrow, just like the locals do.
