Lake Hume

A short 15-minute drive from Albury Wodonga you will find Lake Hume, set amongst a spectacular backdrop of undulating hills.
The awe-inspiring Dam Wall takes centre stage ensuring the lake is magnificent from every angle.

Spend a day by the shores

A stroll across the top of the Hume Dam Wall is the only way to appreciate the size of this impressive engineering triumph. Make sure to have your camera ready and grab a stunning picture from the various viewing platforms.

Along the shores of Lake Hume, you will find some perfect picnic spots. Bring a basket and spend a day by the Hume Dam Wall or head to Kookaburra Point where you will find BBQs and a boat ramp to make your day easy. Don’t forget the mozzie spray especially around the waterways!

Look out across the Murray River and beyond while atop the Hume Dam Wall

Don’t miss a sunset over Lake Hume.

As another sunset melts into the horizon, you’ll be blessed with one last photo opportunity from your day at Lake Hume. But it’s more than likely you’ll come back again tomorrow, just like the locals do.
