Restaurants and Cafes

Albury has a wealth of tucked-away bars, funky cafes and traditional pubs that offer great menus, atmosphere and service.
It's hard to go wrong with the cafes along Albury's Dean Street, with their tables spilling out into the street, providing an abundance of alfresco dining options. Some of our favourites include Q Food, Early Bird Cafe, Zoi or Electra in Albury; Zilch or cafe Grove in Wodonga. Simply Fed in Amp Lane Albury is the cafe of choice for gluten-free delights.
Wine and food lovers should head to the Border Wine Room or Restaurant 579 on Olive with its modern, seasonal menu featuring the best of local produce. For something more casual, opt for tapas at Q Manhattans or The Lounge. Try freshly made pasta from Green Zebra, the teppanyaki bar at Zen X, and a variety of traditional Thai and Chinese options.
Those who rate a city by the quality of its coffee will be happy here. Coffee Mamma rates very highly; roasted, ground daily and made with precision. Grab a coffee and treat to go, then head to the Botanic Gardens with your newspaper.
